On July 16, 1969, three astronauts Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Mike Collins took off from the Saturn 5 rocket at 9:32 a.m. in the direction of the Moon. Four days later, Armstrong was the first to set foot on the ground. Followed by Aldrin: "A small step for man ... A giant leap for humanity."
