It's storming around Justin Trudeau again.

The Prime Minister's family members have previously been paid to attend events organized by the charity We Charity.

In total, it is almost two million Swedish kronor that has gone to Trudeau's mother and brother, reports the Canadian television company CBC.

Want to see criminal investigation

When We Charity received a valuable government contract in June, the opposition criticism did not wait. Among other things, the Conservative opposition party believes that a criminal investigation should be launched against Trudeau, reports CBC.

"The Prime Minister's relatives are involved in a number of different organizations and support many heart issues on their own initiative," the Prime Minister's staff said in a statement.

Due to the controversy, We Charity has stated that they are withdrawing from the contract.
