China News Service, July 11 (Xinhua Times) reported that on July 10 local time, a fire broke out in the Wari-Kropi region in southern Attica, Greece.

After the fire, the fire department sent 25 firefighters, 10 fire trucks and a helicopter to rush to the scene to extinguish the fire.

Due to the dense vegetation in the area where the fire occurred, it was easy to cause the fire to spread. After the firefighters arrived at the scene, they urgently evacuated a SOS children's village and a nursing home in the area.

For security reasons, the police also temporarily blocked the nearby streets.

Due to high temperatures, droughts, strong winds, and man-made arson, many mountain fires occur in Greece every summer.
