In the Barents Sea, the Peter the Great and Marshal Ustinov missile cruisers, with the support of Tu-22M3 aircraft, attacked a group of conditional opponents. The ships completed the launch of the Granit and Vulkan cruise missiles along a simulated trajectory at the farthest distance, as well as the defense of the sea coast, protection of sea lanes, and ensuring the safety of marine economic activity. In total, more than 30 surface ships, submarines, as well as about 20 aircraft and 40 pieces of equipment of coastal missile and artillery and air defense forces of the Northern Fleet are involved in the exercises.
