It is Jönköpings-Posten that has mapped out how the region has used helicopter transport for covid patients who will receive care in other hospitals. The survey extends until July 1st, and the region has used flying time of nearly 45 hours.

- It has to do with what distances it has been, says Mats Bojestig, director of health at Jönköpings-Posten.

The flights have cost just over SEK 7 million, but this is a cost that the state is responsible for, according to the newspaper.
