“Operational information was received that a native of Suleiman-Stalsky district, a resident of Kaspiysk and two natives of Chechnya are engaged in the illicit trafficking of weapons, ammunition, explosives, assist in acquiring civilian weapons and converting them into military weapons, and may also be involved in organized activities a criminal group engaged in the transport of weapons from Chechnya to Dagestan, ”the Dagestan Interior Ministry said on Instagram.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on July 11, searches were carried out at the addresses of the suspects. During the searches, RGD-5, F-1 grenades with fuses, TT pistols, handicraft pistols, cartridges, spare parts from a Kalashnikov assault rifle and a Makarov pistol were seized.
