On the morning of July 10th, local time, officials of Seoul City Hall disclosed the suicide note left by the late Mayor of Seoul, South Korea, in front of the funeral home of Seoul National University Hospital. The full text is only 70 words.
According to reports, Park Yuan-chun wrote in his suicide note: "Apologize to everyone and thank everyone with me", "I am sorry for the pain caused by my family", "Please scatter my ashes on my parents' cemetery".
In the last line of the suicide note, he wrote, "Everyone, goodbye."
At about 17:00 on the evening of the 9th, South Korea time, Park Won-sun’s daughter called the police, saying that his father left after leaving a suicide note and lost contact. Subsequently, the South Korean police initiated a search and found Park Yuanchun dead in the early hours of the 10th.
