The Federation Council proposed to impose sanctions against the authorities of the Baltic countries because of RT and Sputnik

“The Interim Commission of the Council of the Federation calls on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and other executive bodies of the Russian Federation, within its competence, to explore the possibility of introducing reciprocal political and other measures against the authorities of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, grossly violating the principles of freedom of speech and dissemination of information, as well as their obligations to international organizations, ”the commission said in a statement.

The head of the committee of the Federation Council on Constitutional Legislation, Andrei Klishas, ​​noted that his committee would support this statement. According to him, such actions of foreign states should not remain unanswered.
