10 July 2020 91 people have been quarantined for 14 days after a marriage between two newlyweds of Congolese origin celebrated on 27 June in Cittadella, in the province of Padua. As the Gazzettino reports, the first person who tested positive was the father of the bride, who felt the symptoms of the coronavirus and underwent swabs after the wedding banquet.

At that point, the health services contacted all the guests, finding that a friend of the bride also tested positive. The 91 people traced, both Congolese and Italian, live in the provinces of Padua and Treviso but also in Friuli Venezia Giulia, Lombardy, Piedmont, Lazio and France. Consequently, the alarm was sent to all the regions involved.
