This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Tatyana Golikova during a briefing, which was broadcast by the TV channel "Russia 24".

Speaking about plans to resume international air traffic, Golikova noted that Rospotrebnadzor, in accordance with the instructions of the staff, suggested that coronavirus screening should be introduced instead of a 14-day quarantine for people entering Russia from other countries.

According to her, foreigners should have documents that confirm "negative results of laboratory tests for PCR testing, which were received no less than three days before arrival in Russia."

Also, foreigners can present “medical documents confirming the detection of antibodies of immunoglobulin G”.

“As for Russian citizens who will be returning to Russia, they can also conduct a PCR study in the country where they are located 72 hours before arrival in Russia,” said Golikova.

She added that Russian citizens can also "upon arrival in Russia within three days to carry out the appropriate PCR study."

Earlier, Golikova said that the removal of restrictions on international air traffic may begin on July 15.
