So he commented on the statement of the Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Reznikov, who said that the Minsk agreements are largely irrelevant, do not correspond to reality. 

“What this means is difficult to say today. Is this statement the official position of Ukraine or is this the personal expert opinion of Alexei Reznikov? This issue requires clarification, ”RIA Novosti quoted Kozak as saying.

According to him, if the Ukrainian authorities confirm the statement on the revision of the Minsk agreements, this will mean Kiev’s withdrawal from the agreements and from the Minsk and Norman formats for negotiations to resolve the conflict in the Donbass.

Kozak noted that, intending to revise the Minsk agreements, Kiev should be aware that it may take years to develop new documents to resolve the conflict in the Donbass.

Earlier, Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba said that the Minsk process is “based on mechanical ventilation.”
