One explosion occurred in a residential area in Rannebergen in Angered in September, the other in a parking lot in Landvetter east of Gothenburg in early November. The background is conflicts between criminal phalanges and the deaths aimed at members of rival gangs.

Long prison sentence for death

One of the men is sentenced to ten years in prison for ordering the explosion, another to 13 years in prison for detonating the explosive charges with remote trigger. The third man was sentenced to six months in prison, but was released after the trial when the sentence is deemed served by the time he was remanded in custody.

Prosecutor satisfied with the verdict

Prosecutors pleaded "up to 15 years in prison" for the two principals.

- We are satisfied, summarizes Chamber Prosecutor Stina Lundqvist in a comment to the Gothenburg Post.
