“The first stage involves the opening of air links with states in which the most favorable sanitary and epidemiological conditions have developed,” the Federal Air Transport Agency said.
At the same time, the ministry added that the work on resuming flights with other countries will be based on reciprocity.
The Federal Air Transport Agency and the authorities of several states have already exchanged proposals for the resumption of international flights. Additional consultations are being held.
“Air traffic with other states will be resumed after the authorities of specific states lift restrictions on the entry of Russian citizens, as well as assessments of the sanitary and epidemiological situation in these states,” the statement said.
Earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova called the criteria for the resumption of international flights.
According to her, the lifting of restrictions on international air traffic may begin on July 15.
