It was on October 29 that the driver was attacked on the bus. He had left behind in the bus to dismiss a bunch of young people who had stepped through the back entrance when he was knelt in the back. Then he was kicked in the head and on the body.

- Everything went so fast, I was just trying to defend myself, the bus driver has previously told SVT Uppsala.

The boy claimed during the trial that the bus driver was aggressive and grabbed him and pushed him - and then he got angry. He says he panicked and "didn't want to die" and that he kicked off to defend himself.

A dozen kicks

But four surveillance films from different angles in the bus show that he kicks the bus driver a dozen times and the district court thinks that the push the bus driver gave the boy was rather a "mild solution" that cannot be considered a criminal attack on the boy. Thus, the boy should be convicted of gross violence against an official.

He will pay damages to the driver at SEK 12 900.
