During the interview, Naila Asker-zade noted that there is information that a coronavirus infection can supposedly lead to infertility, especially in men.
“There is no such data directly that leads to infertility. Separate publications appeared that during the coronavirus infection, pathogens are detected and inflammatory diseases occur, but today these are only the first such studies, ”Murashko explained.
He also added that some of these materials have already been recalled for revision.
Nevertheless, according to the minister, Russian experts and doctors are closely monitoring this situation.
Earlier, Murashko noted that patients with COVID-19 may experience heart damage.
