After large parts of the United States have been crippled by the corona pandemic, campaigns for the fall presidential election are now starting to take off seriously. Several states are fragmented and weigh, one of which is Pennsylvania. The state, which has often voted for the Democrats, voted in the 2016 presidential election to vote for Donald Trump.
In the former industrial city of Luzerne, Pennsylvania, both Republicans and Democrats have now tearfully launched their campaign. But the people of Luzerne are far from united.
- It's very divisive, either you hate it or you love Trump. There's nothing in between, says Gina Currelli, a resident of Luzerne, Pennsylvania.
