Hot autumn risk
"The risk" of a 'hot autumn', with episodes of social anger due to the coronavirus emergency in Italy, "it is concrete: in September-October we will see the results of this period of serious economic crisis that has hit companies, with closed shops and citizens who are not available to provide for their daily needs. But the government has put in place all the necessary initiatives, trying to meet these needs. However, the risk is real ".

"Today I also see an attitude of violence sometimes towards our police forces, to which the thanks of all Italians must go: they protect the democratic order and the safety of all citizens. The violent behavior adopted towards those who protection are absolutely to be condemned, "he says.

Avoiding new outbreaks of infection
"The government's objective is to avoid creating new outbreaks of infection: therefore we are putting in place all the necessary activities to monitor, control and avoid any arrivals that could create a new outbreak".

Averting a new lockdown
"We cannot ignore the possibility of a return of the virus, as the scientific community is unfortunately telling us, but for this reason our attitudes must be even more responsible because we must avoid a new lockdown: with our behavior we must be responsible and contain a possible new outbreak in October, "he concluded.
