Seven of the country's eight largest student housing units say they lack housing for autumn students, according to a study by the Student Housing Companies. In Stockholm, Uppsala and Linköping, for example, the pressure is high.

Here, priority is given to those students who belong to Campus Telge or KTH Södertälje, but in recent years, students in Stockholm County have also been opened.
"The challenge here has been to get all apartments rented out," says Cecilia Kumlin, head of the rental at Telge housing.
