The government has presented in the framework of "Ségur de la santé" a draft agreement providing for a minimum increase in remuneration of 180 euros monthly net for hospital staff in the public sector, excluding doctors, we learned Thursday from sources concordant.

This agreement, presented to the unions at the end of a marathon negotiation session in the night from Wednesday to Thursday, provides for a salary increase in two stages, with a first revaluation of 90 euros net in September and a second of 90 euros net which will come into force later.

All paramedical (nurses, nursing assistants) and non-medical (technicians, stretcher bearers, etc.) employees of hospitals and public nursing homes are affected by this measure, with the exception of hospital doctors, who are subject to separate negotiations.

The memorandum of understanding, the final version of which must be sent to the unions on Thursday noon, also provides for an overhaul of the grids, that is to say the salaries provided according to the course of careers, for certain nursing and medico-technical professions, said these sources to AFP.

As announced on Tuesday, it also includes a section on employment, with 15,000 hirings in public establishments, half of which correspond to job creations and the other half to recruitments of staff who were not previously filled. .

This draft memorandum of understanding "leads in the state to a significant revaluation of hospital professions", reacted to AFP Zaynab Riet, general delegate of the Federation hospital of France (FHF), evoking "an opportunity to seize ".

The unions, which initially demanded a monthly increase of 300 euros for all personnel in the public sector, will have to decide in the coming days on this agreement, whose total amount reaches 7.5 billion euros.

For doctors, no draft agreement has however been presented at this stage, discussions held Wednesday with the unions of hospital practitioners having been blocked for lack of progress on the envelope promised by the government, according to union sources .

Last week, Olivier Véran had proposed an envelope of 600 million euros for their remuneration, including 400 million for doctors and 200 million for interns and students.

The unions hoped for an extension to finance new levels at the end of their careers and an increase in the allowances for guards and standby.
