Currently, 59 people have been killed, 4 people have stopped cardiopulmonary function, and 16 people are missing. Many residences were washed away by mudslides, or soaked in muddy water, and the power was cut off when the water was cut off, becoming an "isolated zone."   Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism data show that during noon on the 4th and 8th, at least 73 places were flooded in 60 rivers in 9 counties in Japan. Up to now, about 1,500 houses in the Kyushu area have been flooded on the ground, and 3,000 houses have been flooded underground. At least 3,200 people have been forced to live in refuges, and many vehicles have disappeared or were stormed into the river.

  On the other hand, the Japan Meteorological Agency issued a special heavy rain warning to 20 municipalities in Gifu and Nagano on the morning of the 8th. The Hida River in Gero City, Gifu Prefecture was flooded, and 3,984 people from 1,586 families including tourists were trapped. Sudden windstorms frequently occur everywhere. Only one county in Tochigi Prefecture received 27 reports of damage such as blown roof tiles.

  The Japan Meteorological Agency said that the frontline of the 9th rainy season will go north along the Japanese archipelago. In the afternoon, the Kyushu region will again receive heavy rainfall.
