09 July 2020 The 53-year-old Bengali positive for coronavirus blocked yesterday by the polfer in Roma Termini will be reported for violation of the quarantine obligation.

The man, who returned to Italy on 23 June with one of the special flights from Dhaka, had been subjected to a swab at Fiumicino airport upon arrival, testing positive for the virus and then subjected to the quarantine obligation.

He had arrived in Rome Termini at 18 on board the regional train from Falconara and would have been framed by the surveillance cameras of the station while getting off the train. Stopped, he would have been found in possession of a Rimini-Rome ticket for the same day.

The 53-year-old was traveling with a mask and, intercepted by private security on duty at the railway yard, he would have admitted to having a fever and to have tested positive for the swab they had done to him in Fiumicino when he returned to Italy from Dhaka on 23 June. Identified by Polfer, the foreigner is then isolated waiting for the ambulance, which then transferred him to the Policlinico Umberto I.
