An eyewitness working as a mechanic during the Dubai Public Prosecution’s investigations said that he had been accustomed for some time to meeting his friend, the victim, noting that he had met him on the day of the crime in the Al Quoz area, and the accused and another person accompanied them.
He added that he went to relieve his need, and when he returned, he did not find his phone, so he asked them about his location and the defendant answered that the victim was the one who took it, so the latter denied, and a verbal argument occurred between the accused and the victim, so the former began beating the dead man in his chest, and the latter fell to the ground, then the accused left And the witness stayed for a while with the other person, and left without noticing all of them that their fourth died.
He pointed out that he returned to the location of the incident two days later, and was surprised that the victim died, and the police arrested him, because he was present there, so he explained to them what happened and helped them to arrest the accused.
A witness from Dubai Police said: “A report stated that a deceased person was found in a parked truck in one of the parking places, so he moved there with the specialists from the crime scene and forensic experts and evidence. By asking the present, the owner of the vehicle stated that he did not know this person, and he informed the police when he saw him lying down On his back, motionless. ''
He added that during the search and investigation an Asian person came, who was under the influence of alcoholic beverages crying, and decided that the deceased was his friend, and they were together on the roof of the truck trailer, and he told what happened.
He pointed out that he saw the defendant beat the victim, and ran him over with his leg on his chest, stressing that he did not realize that his friend had died as a result of this attack.
The witness reported the formation of several teams to apprehend the accused, who confessed that he assaulted his hands and feet on the victim, after a verbal altercation between them, and he only knew that he had died from the police.
The forensic report revealed that the victim died of injuries in the middle of the chest, neck and head, attributing this to beating with hands and kicks in the legs, suggesting that he was under the influence of alcohol at the time of his death at a rate that affects the strength of his feelings and perception.
