Information from the hunting team and the inspector is that the fallen wolf is a bitch from last year, which would mean that the older wolf couple, who established themselves in the area a few years ago, are still alive.
Do you know if it was precisely this wolf that was behind the previous attacks?
- No, we have not been able to identify any particular individual in the recent attacks, he says.
So can it be decided on more protection hunting if the attacks continue?
- I cannot give any advance notice of it, but we can assess the situation according to what happens, says Fredrik Näsman.
