The reporter learned from the Economic and Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in Nepal that a Chinese employee also lost contact in the accident and is currently in emergency search and rescue.

The sudden rise of the river water level caused by heavy rainfall also poses a threat to the lives and property of local people. About 6 people have been injured in the flood.

Due to excessive rain and numerous collapses on the Anigo Highway, search and rescue personnel could only walk to the scene after dawn. On the morning of the 9th, the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Nepal, Sapukota, originally planned to visit the affected area, but due to the bad weather, he could only return to Kathmandu.

The Nepal Meteorological Department recently predicted that there will be a round of heavy rainfall throughout the country from the 8th to the 12th. Many major rivers in the country may exceed the warning water level, and the incidence of floods and landslides is high. (Finish)
