At the beginning of the upcoming school year, traditional rulers are waiting for schoolchildren, said the head of the Ministry of Education, Sergey Kravtsov.

“We plan that the children will come to school on September 1, everyone is waiting for this, the traditional rulers will be held,” the minister said on the Russia 24 television channel. At the same time, he recalled the need to observe safety measures in order to ensure the health of both students and teachers.

Later, the department made explanations. The Ministry of Education announced on the hot line that the format of school rulers on September 1 will depend on the epidemiological situation in each particular region.

“The situation will become clear soon. And then we will begin to prepare children. While we plan to traditionally start the school year on September 1, we will meet all the children at school. But, of course, the rulers will depend on the epidemiological situation in each region, ”TASS quoted the agency as saying.

Earlier, Kravtsov said that school lines on September 1 will be held in a new form. This decision is connected with the sanitary requirements for the work of schools and kindergartens during a pandemic, established by the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare by the end of 2020.

“We traditionally have rulers on September 1. For obvious reasons, we will conduct them in a slightly different format, but the schoolchildren will come to school, we really hope that the teachers will go to school and the educational process will begin, ”the minister said, speaking to reporters on July 8.

He specified that in the upcoming school year, for safety reasons, the lines will be held taking into account the requirements of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare.

Along with this, the minister said that on September 1 a diagnosis of schoolchildren’s knowledge will be held based on the results of the distance learning period that was introduced throughout the country in connection with the epidemic of coronavirus.

According to Kravtsov, the results of this audit will not be set. The diagnostic task is to identify gaps and prepare programs for closing them, the minister said.

Work in an epidemic

Recall that in mid-March in Russia restrictions were imposed on the work of educational institutions against the background of the situation with coronavirus infection COVID-19.

According to the latest data, from the beginning of the epidemic in Russia, 707 301 cases of coronavirus were recorded. To date, 481,316 people have recovered, including 8,805 in the last day. At the same time, 10 843 patients died from complications that developed against the background of coronavirus infection and concomitant diseases.

In Moscow, the day before, the smallest number of new cases in the last three months was revealed - 568. In the previous two days - 621 and 629 people, respectively.

Against the background of the publication of this information, it became known about the next stage of lifting restrictions in the capital, which starts on July 13. According to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, among other measures that day, restrictions on full-time work of educational institutions are lifted.

We are also talking about classes in sports, music and art schools, in other educational organizations and in courses for children and adults.

“Until early August, the exam will be held in schools. We plan to start a full-fledged academic year as usual - on the Day of Knowledge, September 1, ”the mayor explained.

At the same time, Sobyanin pointed out that the city still holds a ban on holding mass entertainment, cultural and leisure activities in the open air and public events. The reason for this, the head of the city called the inability to ensure compliance with social distance.

In addition, the mayor emphasized that all newly opened organizations must comply with the sanitary requirements established by Rospotrebnadzor.

Earlier, the chief sanitary doctor of the Russian Federation, Anna Popova, also expressed confidence that schools could resume work in Russia from September 1.

“Of course, you need to learn, you cannot cancel. And, in general, today the situation is manageable. There is a fairly high degree of confidence today that, yes, at the beginning of September our wonderful students will return to their desks and will fully enjoy the educational process, ”Popova said on the air of the Russia 1 TV channel on June 17.

We add that from September 1 in 14 regions of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media should begin an experiment on the introduction of a digital educational environment, which will allow students of schools and colleges to go to a distance learning format in case of outbreaks of SARS and other infections.
