"Do you want me to sign you?" The least we can say is that in February 2018 on LCI, Eric Dupond-Moretti had a playful tone to say that, never, oh never, he would become Minister of Justice. Finally the idea made its way and he was appointed, Monday evening, in the government of Jean Castex. It is one of the rare shock announcements of this new ministerial cast.

Also, Eric Dupond-Moretti says he does not have the profile for the position: “First, you have to agree with all the friends of the government to which you belong. The lawyer, nicknamed "aquitator" in the justice sector, will now see on the job if he is indeed made for the job.
