US President Trump expressed positive opinions about the 3rd North American summit. interview with American Gray TV, US President Trump replied to the question of the possibility of the third North American summit, "If it could help, I will do it."

When asked if the 3rd North American summit would help, he said "probably" and said, "I have a very good relationship with Kim Jong-un."

In a situation where US Secretary of State Stephen Vaughn visited Korea, President Trump reaffirmed his willingness to top-down diplomacy in North America.

Defense Minister Esper said North Korea, along with Iran, was a "poor country" and cited it as an achievement.
