According to the investigation, on the evening of Tuesday, July 7, four minor children under guardianship went to swim in the river without adult supervision.

At some point, two girls of 8 and 10 years old and a 16-year-old boy disappeared under water. The bodies of two children have been found, while a third is still being sought.

“A criminal case has been opened on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of Russia (causing death by negligence to two or more persons),” the SC IC reports in Altai Territory.

Earlier it was reported that a criminal case was opened in Udmurtia on the fact of the death of a child in the Malopurginsky district.
