The State Duma did not rule out serious measures in response to the RT ban in Lithuania

“This is arbitrary rule that the Baltic republics are doing. With the majority of the population clearly facing Russia, they are creating outrage for the sake of their patrons ... It’s a pity only those citizens of the Baltic republics who treat us as they should, ”the deputy said.

According to the parliamentarian, such a decision could entail a “serious response”.

Earlier, the Lithuanian Radio and Television Commission decided to ban the broadcasting of RT channel in Lithuania.

On June 30, broadcasting of seven channels of the RT group was banned in Latvia. The TV channels RT, RT HD, RT Arabic, RT Spanish, RT Documentary HD, RT Documentary, RT TV fell under the ban.
