The night of June 21 to 22 was hectic for the police of Fougères (Ille-et-Vilaine), as reported on the Actu.fr site. It all started around 4 am with the call of residents complaining of damage in the hall of a building. Arrived on site, the police surprised a young man who attacked the door of the residence.
His arrest was muscular, the individual struggling and verbally insulting the police. First taken to the police station, he was transported to the hospital center in view of his drunkenness.
One six-month suspended sentence
At the same time, seven young people, including several minors, took the direction of the city police station to try to free their friend, thinking that the latter was in a sobering-up cell. For fifteen minutes, the youths insulted the police and threw stones at the windows, one of them also kicked the entrance gate.
It was not until July 2 that the seven suspects were arrested and placed in police custody. One of them has just been tried in immediate appearance for contempt and damage. He was sentenced to six months suspended prison sentence. The other six receive criminal compensation.
