The Director General of Operations in Ras Al-Khaimah Police, Brigadier Abdullah Ali Menkhies, confirmed that during the past two days, news circulated on social media that a 13-year-old Asian girl had been kidnapped from her parents ’house, and had not returned Until the hour of the communication, the father was absent from the police.
Brigadier General Menkhs added that upon receiving the communication, a field team was formed from the Department of Investigations and Organized Crime, to determine the findings and extensive research in all areas of the emirate. Initial investigations confirmed that the missing girl is in the Emirate of Sharjah of her own will, and she is in good health.
Brigadier General Menkhs said: "Through the interrogation procedures and taking the initial information after retrieving the child, it became clear that she had already left the house of her own will, and when taking her statements about the reason for her departure, she said that she left the house due to family circumstances."
Brigadier General Menkhs explained that after completing the legal procedures, the file was referred to the Public Prosecution according to the established procedures, calling on the public not to circulate rumors, and publish them which causes confusion, chaos in the community, the need to investigate the facts, and communicate with the competent authorities before publishing any news that does not relate to the truth related So that the person is not held accountable.
