The agents of the public transport service of the Toulouse agglomeration noted that this leak was at the level of a filter on the fuel distribution network of the bus depot.
“The rupture of this element occurred during the weekend, the distribution circuit operating on Friday in nominal mode. During the leak, the hydrocarbons infiltrated into the ground in the rainwater networks and thus into the natural environment, including the Hers stream, "said Tisséo in a press release.
Network isolation

“At the same time, two actions were initiated to treat the affected areas: the isolation of the rainwater networks of the Tisséo site by shutters and the depollution of the natural environment, including the Hers river by absorbent tubes and a dam with weighted skirt, ”reassures Tisséo.
