As Peskov noted, these materials do not and cannot have any real information on the results of counterintelligence work.

July 7 in Moscow detained Ivan Safronov. He was later sent into custody.
According to the FSB, he carried out the mission of “one of the NATO special services”, collected and transmitted information that makes up state secrets.
Prior to Roscosmos, Safronov worked in the newspapers Vedomosti and Kommersant.
In the Kommersant publishing house, the accusations against Safronov were called absurd, and Vedomosti called on to consider all the circumstances of Safronov’s case impartially and in compliance with the law.
Safronov said in court that he does not admit guilt in treason. According to the lawyer, the former journalist is suspected of working for Czech special services.
The head of Roskosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, emphasized that Safronov did not have access to classified information while working in the state corporation.
