Freshmen do not attend classes this fall, and instead arrive in the spring and summer of 2021. If the epidemic still exists next spring, sophomores skip the spring semester. All students and teachers can choose to take classes or teach remotely.
According to emails from the President and Vice-President of Brown University, students must decide whether to plan to return to school or take classes remotely by July 15th.
The school also stipulates that after the fall semester begins, all students and teachers must wear masks to maintain social distance. Face-to-face classrooms are limited to 20 people, all large classes are changed to remote, all students will be tested for new coronavirus when they arrive at the school, and 14 days of quarantine is required.
