The honeymoon of the PSOE and Citizens continues. The party of Inés Arrimadas wants to end the bleeding of councilors who break with the orange party to benefit the PP or the PSOE and thrive personally -the latest cases have been in two provincial capitals, Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Malaga-. To do this, Cs launched on Monday a proposal to meet three to the leaders of the PSOE and the PP to "reactivate" and "reinforce" the anti-transfect pact, which has not met since 2010. The liberal formation wants the three parties to commit to pursue these practices and not politically benefit from them.

Cs proposed by letter to PP and PSOE an urgent meeting this Wednesday. Socialists immediately said yes, but asked that the meeting be on Thursday due to scheduling reasons. The popular , however, replied that this week they are "in electoral mode" for the Basque and Galician elections and that it cannot be. Popular sources explained to this newspaper that they will study that the meeting be held later.

The leadership of the liberal formation decided this Tuesday, as EL MUNDO could know, to hold that first meeting with the PSOE, to which they hope that the PP will join. "If it does not come, we will study the matter with the socialists and later we will try to incorporate the PP," they explained.

The speed of the PSOE's response and its receptiveness once again demonstrate the excellent relationship that socialists and liberals maintain after more than two months of negotiations and agreements between the Government and the Arrimadas party. Cs and the PP are partners in the governments of four communities and even share an electoral coalition in the Basque Country. But this time they could not agree to meet.

Tomorrow, Thursday, around 11:30 am, the Deputy Secretary General of Cs, Carlos Cuadrado , and his Deputy Deputy Secretary, José María Espejo-Saavedra , will meet with the Secretary of Territorial Coordination of the PSOE, Santos Cerdán , and the Coordinator of the Secretary of Socialist Organization, Julio Navalpotro .

Sources from both sides agree in conversation with this newspaper that transfuguism "is a form of corruption" and that it must be stopped because "it is often directly linked to illegal commissions, perks or gifts to reward the fugitive."

Both the Cs and the PSOE intend to "reinforce" the pact with new measures and with an express commitment from all parties to forcefully reject these practices.

Two recent cases

In Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the councilor of Cs Evelyn Alonso decided to support a motion of censure from the Canary Coalition and the PP to snatch the Mayor from the socialist Patricia Hernández , who won the elections and reached a pact with the Cs councilors. Everything behind the back of the party leadership. The Executive's response was overwhelming and she was expelled. Before that, he tried to contact her by phone, email and even through a burofax without success, according to the orange spokeswoman , Melisa Rodríguez .

In Malaga, the case has been different. Cs spokesman Juan Cassa left this formation after Arrimadas's victory in the primaries and became an unaffiliated councilor. The mayor broke the tie between the 15 councilors of PP and Cs and the 15 of the PSOE and Adelante Andalucía. The mayor, the popular Francisco de la Torre , agreed to make him a provincial deputy and spokesman for the Diputación in exchange for his support. Cassa charges from that moment more than 90,000 euros, they explain from Cs.
