The alleged perpetrator of the knife attack on a woman yesterday in Eibar ( Guipúzcoa ) has turned himself in this Wednesday at an Ertzaintza police station , the Basque Security Department has reported .
The events took place at about 15.40 hours, in Sostoa-Tarren street , where for investigative reasons the woman was beaten and attacked with a white weapon and wounded in the leg. The victim was transferred to the Mendaro Hospital .
The Ertzaintza had identified the aggressor, who is a partner or ex-partner of the victim, and launched a search device. Finally, the suspect has turned himself in today at an Ertzaintza police station, the same source has reported.
The woman is very serious because the stab pierced her femoral artery, reports the Diario Vasco .
A witness recorded and posted on the Internet a part of the assault suffered by this woman on public roads at the hands of a man who dealt her several blows to the head and to the ground in the presence of a young child and that minutes later the stabbed.
