China News Service, July 7th, according to the US Geological Survey website, at 6:54 on the 7th, Beijing time, a magnitude 6.6 earthquake occurred in the waters near Indonesia, with a focal depth of 528.7 kilometers.

  Indonesia is located in the Pacific Rim seismic belt, with thousands of large and small earthquakes occurring each year. In September 2018, a magnitude 7.4 earthquake occurred in Donggala County, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia. The earthquake and the tsunami it caused killed more than 2,000 people.

  At present, there have been no reports of casualties and property losses in the earthquake.
