As noted in the text of the document, the United States Embassy in Moscow will be responsible for the implementation of the projects.

So, the first initiative involves attracting students from Russian schools to study the history of Russian-American relations.

It is assumed that groups of students will work on the creation of educational projects - sites, applications, AR- or VR-platforms - which will then become a “useful information tool for further involving a wider audience in the study of the common history” of the two countries.

The grant description emphasizes that the initiative, whose budget is $ 50 thousand, involves the promotion of a "wider understanding of US history", "tolerance, shared values, learning English."

The State Department’s second initiative is aimed at providing technical and logistical support to the American Subject Matter Experts Program, the purpose of which is to clarify the characteristics of American culture and foreign policy.

“The grant recipient will be responsible for the logistics support of the embassy, such as visa support for American specialists, negotiations on payments, organization of domestic and international transportation, promotion of the event, provision of educational and printed materials, materials for the media and social networks,” the text of the document says.

The list of tasks of the candidate for a grant will also include the selection and hiring of specialists from the USA who will interact with the Russian audience (in person or online) through lectures, seminars or consultations. The agenda will be determined by the US Embassy and partner organizations.

The department is ready to allocate up to $ 300 thousand for the implementation of the initiative.

State and private NPOs established in the USA can apply for participation in grants.

Earlier it was reported that the State Department intends to finance initiatives aimed at disseminating "American values" in Slovenia.
