What is being presented in mid-August will instead be a "minimalist proposal", according to the Moderates.

This means that the committee submits proposals only on the points where the government has commissioned proposals.

"The proposals will not include any volume targets, no proposals for footcuffs, house arrest or qualification into welfare, but on family reinstatement, humanitarian protection and legal security," Annika Hirvonen Falk, Environmental Party's migration policy spokesperson, told SVT.

According to her, the negotiations between S and M have taken too long. Now the time of the committee has expired.

- It would have been better if we had negotiated a humane refugee policy that a majority could have behind, but we simply could not make it before the deadline. But I am very happy and relieved that the proposals are not based on Moderate politics.

Annika Hirvonen Falk estimates that each of the eight parliamentary parties will have their own writings on almost every proposal. She believes, she tells TT, that there will be tough negotiations this autumn in the government and between the parties.

The Environment Party believes that several of the proposals that are likely to be included in the report will be too strict for MP.
