Tragedy and pain have entered the home of the Reyzábal family, businessmen and owners of some emblematic properties such as the Palacio de la Prensa, the Callao cinemas or the old Windor building.

Last Friday Ana Reyzábal, aged just 14, died after a canoe accident while descending the Cares river, in Asturias, during a summer camp.

The singer Barei (whose real name is Bárbara Reyzábal) is a cousin of the little girl's father and she herself has wanted to clarify what happened through her Instagram, after having received some questions from her followers.

"The truth is that death always hurts, but it is true that when it occurs in these circumstances and with those ages, the pain is immense," begins the Spanish representative of Eurovisión in her stories.

"I don't even want to imagine the pain inside my cousin and his wife right now and I imagine that only with time they will be able to make the pain bearable, live with it," he adds of his family.

Apparently Ana "was going down the river in the back of a canoe when she suddenly fell into the water, without anyone being able to do anything. It was the companion in front who noticed what had happened and notified one of the three monitors, "according to local media. The young woman's body was found hours later.

The singer also wanted to thank all the words of affection and support that she and her family are receiving for this dramatic event, and she pointed out that all of them have lived death very close.

Barei recalled that her father died when she was just one year old, although it was not the only loss of the family, which now has to add that of the young Ana, with only 14 years old.
