“To date, the volunteers are in good health, there are no complaints, all vital functions are normal. Today, laboratory indicators are also within reference values, there are no concerns, ”RIA Novosti quoted her as saying.

According to Smolyarchuk, the vaccine was administered to two groups of volunteers. Their discharge is scheduled for July 15 and 20.

She also explained that since the vaccine was created through a biotechnological process and a live or inactivated virus is not introduced into the human body, this cannot cause disease during vaccination.

The head of the center also noted that the minor post-vaccination reactions that appeared in volunteers were no different from reactions to other vaccines and did not require medical intervention.

It was previously reported that a number of volunteers in the first hours after vaccination against coronavirus experienced an increase in temperature and headache, which passed within a day.
