“The investigation of the criminal cases on the rehabilitation of Nazism during the“ Immortal Regiment Online ”campaign against the 19-year-old resident of Perm Daniil Simanov and the 23-year-old resident of Ulyanovsk Vyacheslav Kruglov has been completed,” she said.

According to the investigation, on May 4, Simanov sent a photograph of the traitor Rodina Vlasov to the “Memory Bank” website on a social network application for further broadcasting on shares with veterans of the Great Patriotic War and home front workers. In turn, Kruglov posted an application to which he attached a photograph of the leader of fascist Germany, Adolf Hitler.

Both defendants fully admitted guilt. Simanov said that he posted a photo of Vlasov to “glorify his person”, and Kruglov explained his actions as a “bad joke”.

Criminal cases were sent to the Prosecutor General.

Earlier it was reported that cases due to the publication of photos of the Nazis in the Immortal Regiment are being investigated in Perm, Samara, Kazan, Ulyanovsk, Volgograd, Tula and other cities.
