“The project intends to bring the forms of the vehicle registration certificate and driver's license in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation and international law,” RIA Novosti quotes the press service of the department.
In particular, it is planned to supplement the driver's license form with the inscription DRIVING LICENCE.
The agency also proposed to clarify the list of information entered in the vehicle passport, the form of certificate of registration.
It was previously reported that in Russia in 2019, 1.33 million people received a driver's license for the right to drive vehicles. Compared with the data for 2018, the number of rights holders decreased by almost 17 thousand.
