The updated data in Italy and in the world The epidemic curve in Italy is falling: 138 new cases registered today, against 208 yesterday. Thanks to the sharp drop in Lombardy, 53 positive against 111 of 24 hours ago, however, compared to less buffers. The total of Italians affected by Covid thus rises to 241,956. Strong rise instead of the number of deaths, 30 today against 8 yesterday (and 7 on Sunday). There were victims in Lombardy (13), Veneto (10), Piedmont (3), Tuscany (2), Emilia Romagna and Puglia (1 each). The total rises to 34,899. The healed increase, 574 in one day (yesterday they were just 133), which rise to 192,815. As a result of these data, active patients return to fall after two days of increase: 467 fewer than yesterday, for a total of 14,242. This is what emerges from the daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health. The drop in hospitalizations also starts again, after the small increases in the last 24 hours: 6 fewer places occupied in the ordinary regime (940 in all), and 2 in intensive care (70). While 13,232 are patients in home isolation. Finally, the buffers rise at national level (with the exception, as mentioned, of Lombardy): they are 43,219 against 22,166 yesterday.
