The Houthi military spokesman, Brigadier Yahya Sari, said that the war that has continued since 2015 in Yemen resulted in the death or injury of more than 10,000 Saudi and Emirati officers and soldiers.
During a press briefing on the outcome of the past five years of the war in Yemen, Sari said that the death toll and injuries of what he described as "mercenaries of Sudan" amounted to more than 8 thousand dead and injured, as the number of dead reached 4253 people.
He added that the Houthi Air Force affiliated air force carried out 969 attacks inside the Saudi and Emirati depths, and that these forces fired more than a thousand missiles at Saudi and Emirati targets, he said.
Brigadier-General Sari said that the Houthi forces "shot down more than 371 coalition aircraft, including 53 combat aircraft and Apache helicopters, and 318 reconnaissance and spy planes."
Brigadier-General Soraya vowed to deliver more specific strikes that will not stop until the "aggression and siege" stops.
He pointed out that his group had monitored more than 257,000 air strikes by coalition warplanes as of March 14.
It is reported that on March 26, 2015, a Saudi-led military coalition launched a massive air operation against the Houthi group in Yemen.
The coalition's intervention came at the request of Yemeni President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi, to restore legitimacy in the country, after the Houthi group took control of the capital, Sana'a, and most of the northern governorates, and crawled it towards the southern governorates.
