A man in his 50s was found dead in a burnt-out car in Hedlandet outside Eskilstuna in December 2018. Early in the investigation, the woman, who had a relationship with the man, was arrested. The woman has been held in custody for the entire time that the investigation has continued, but after the trial ended in mid-June, she was released on parole.

Now she is freed from murder but sentenced for crimes against marital peace and gross fraud through illegal identity use and forgery. She is jailed for two years and seven months, but since she has been remanded since December 28, 2018 on suspicion of murder, she is allowed to settle that detention period.
