Earlier, Serebrennikov refused to appeal the verdict, two more defendants - producers Yuri Itin and Alexei Malobrodsky - filed complaints.
The Meshchansky court of Moscow on June 26 issued a verdict in the case of the Seventh Studio. Serebrennikov was sentenced to three years probation, Malobrodsky and Itin also received suspended sentences.
Apfelbaum was found guilty of negligence and imposed a fine, but was released from punishment for the expiration of the statute of limitations.
