“The Meshchansky court of Moscow received complaints about the conviction in the case of the Seventh Studio from the convict Alexei Malobrodsky and his defense, as well as from the defense of the convict Yuri Itin,” the agency was told.
On June 26, persons involved in the Seventh Studio case were sentenced on charges of embezzlement of at least 129 million rubles allocated by the Ministry of Culture for the Platform project.
Serebrennikov received three years of probation and a fine of 800 thousand rubles, Itin and Malobrodsky also received suspended sentences and fines.
