“According to the regional forestry dispatch services, over the past day, July 5, Russia has eliminated 80 forest fires on an area of 2,362 hectares,” RIA Novosti quoted the statement as saying.
It is specified that by 00:00 on July 6, 246 forest fires were operating in Russia on an area of 140,073 hectares, which were actively extinguished.
