In an interview with the Serbian online resource, The Voice of Evidence, he noted that over the past few years there have been unprecedented attempts by the United States and its allies to isolate Russia in the international arena.

“More and more restrictive measures are being introduced - all this has long gone beyond the boundaries of competition. All this causes allergies today among an increasing number of partners who do not want to sacrifice the interests of their national security in the name of someone’s benefit, ”RIA Novosti quotes Shugaev.

According to him, in this regard, many continue to choose Russian equipment.

“S-400 shipments to Turkey last year, the signing and implementation of contracts for the supply of air defense systems and frigates to India, agreements totaling over $ 1 billion with African countries reached at the first Russia-Africa forum in Sochi - all this only some facts confirming my words about the unacceptability of pressure on sovereign states in matters of ensuring national security, ”said the head of the Federal Security and Military Transport Council.

As Defense News previously wrote, Senator John Thune proposed an amendment to the Senate that would allow the United States to buy back Russian S-400s from Turkey.

The FSVTS, commenting on these reports, emphasized that the transfer of the S-400 to another state without Russia's permission is impossible.
